The internal sealing performance of a valve is the main indicator for evaluating the valve. The internal components are the main working parts of the valve, and whether the material selection is reasonable and its quality status directly affects the service life of the valve.
1、 Requirements for sealing surface material
– Has good welding and machining process performance.
– Sufficient antioxidant and thermal fatigue resistance at high temperatures.
– The sealing surface and the body material have a similar linear expansion coefficient to avoid welding cracks.
– It is necessary to have anti scratch performance, and the damage caused by friction of the material during the relative movement of the sealing surface.
– Causing seal failure.
– Must have corrosion resistance.
– Erosion resistance is particularly important when used in high-pressure steam.
